With over 20 years financial services experience, Kelvin’s expertise includes audit, loan review, credit analysis, credit administration, loan workout, loan operations, loan servicing, and compliance. He has worked for two of the largest CPA firms in the Pittsburgh area and has held management positions at several financial institutions including Lincoln Savings Bank, Reliable Savings Bank, Southwest Bank, and First Commonwealth Bank.

His accomplishments include:

· Interim CFO for a community bank. Streamlined board reporting and call report preparation. Reduced board report preparation time by 75%.

· Performed loan and documentation file reviews for community banks.

· Performed due diligence review of the commercial loan portfolio in support of merger.

· Reviewed and streamlined loan operations for a community bank.

· Reviewed and tested entity level controls during a SOX 404 internal control review for a $1.5 billion bank.

· Performed financial analysis for a local school district. The analysis helped in the recovery of funds in a dispute over the sale of delinquent real estate taxes.

· Reviewed research grants for a major university to determine the propriety of grant expenditures as provided by the grant agreement; created an income statement for the university’s research institute.

· Performed expert work in a securities mediation case.

· Performed financial analysis and system review for a private school in distress. Financial analysis and operations review were critical in returning the school to profitability. Reviewed school operations and advised management on corrective actions needed to remain viable. Converted accounting system from a manual, paper-based system to QuickBooks.

· Created accounting system on QuickBooks for used car dealership.

· Re-created financial statements for a real estate developer.

· Performed financial analysis for a taxpayer in a criminal tax fraud case.

· Investigated a bank embezzlement to determine the extent of the loss.
