Kelvin Pier discussed how bank directors can “avoid the trivia” in loan review at

the PACB 2006 Spring Directors’ Symposium.

 

July 2006—Local Consultant forms Reliable Associates, LLC

Kelvin L. Pier, principal of Pier Solutions, LLC, announce the formation of Reliable Associates, LLC.  Reliable will provide banks and thrift institutions with consulting services in the areas of loan review, credit analysis, credit policy and administration, portfolio due diligence, bulk loan sales, and distressed asset management.

“With the increased complexity of commercial lending and pressure from bank regulators, community banks and thrifts need specialized expertise that they may not have internally. Reliable Associates was formed to provide that expertise. We are looking forward to helping financial institutions achieve their management goals”, noted Pier.

Pier brings over 20 years of broad-based public accounting, financial services and banking experience to the organization. He has held management positions at several Western Pennsylvania financial institutions including Lincoln Savings Bank, Reliable Savings Bank, Southwest Bank and First Commonwealth Bank. Pier is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Accounting and is a CPA, a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager.  Pier Solutions, LLC (www.piersolutions.com) will continue to provide forensic accounting and consulting services in the areas of  fraud prevention and investigation, and litigation support.
